Looking for trails and places to ride nere edmonton

Hello all I'm looking for trails and places to ride my snowmobile near Edmonton? I hear there is a lot of trails in fort Saskatchewan? what do you all rec? thanks for helping a newbie!

the further west you go the better the snow will be, I'd look at Whitecourt & Fox Creek. Our AB Beach trails are in good shape but not much off trail to play on.

Been a long time since I rode Fort Sask trails. They connect Bruderheim, Lamont & Fort Sask. Stage @ Elk Island Sales

Ministik Trail system. South East of Sherwood Park. Stage 3 miles South of Highway 14 on Range Road 215. 68kms of groomed trail.

Both those are ASA trails so one pass covers both.

you can try hwy 28 just north of why 37 at the bottom of the hill theres a service road that run parallel to hwy 28. you can ride the sturgeon river to gibbons and theres lots of places to explore along the way.

also north of edmonton at range road 235 and township 592 there are tones of sand trails/snow trails. there is a large sand pit that is mostly not used anymore.... just try to ignore all the gunshots.

Ministik is pretty close to the city and lots of good riding. I might be heading out this weekend if you wanted to meet up.

Do you need a trail pass for Ministik or whitecourt? plus is the only place to get asa passes in Sherwood park? Ministik is south cooking and north cooking lake area is it not?

you can pickup ASA Passes in Sherwood Park @ ASE Motorsports, or Sherwood Park Service, You can also purchase them online from the ASA. E&S Motorcycles in Ft Sask, and possibly some other dealers throughout edmonton

Trail passes are required for Whitecourt, Ministik, Ft Sask, and many many other trails.

south of Beaumont just south of 623 (Rollyview road) there are some nice trails down in the coulee.

Cooking lake is not part of any trail. And you do not require any passes to ride on Cooking lake. But it gets pretty boring.
