Looking at buying a new atv..... What will be my best bang for my buck? Looking at Polaris 850 and Honda Rincon 680. Any advice? I'm not against other brands......

Forget the Honda ,10 year old technology the 850 and the canam are both good. Do your research and let us know where and how you ride...

you wont be happy with the honda unless put 4000 into it after you buy it. heavy, under powered, high geared, and only a 3 speed that doesnt work very well. iv got an 09 xp 850 le with lots of hard kms on it and its been treating me extremely well. big tires with lots of power, iv added some odds n ends but its been very reliable.

i love the power steering as well. if you get the polaris, try to find a dealer withan 09 xp 850 le. the 2010 is more plastic and more expensive.

Well I hate to say this being the Honda lover I am but, don't buy the Rincon. Not enough gears, overheats very easy. Canams also overheat easy, at least the ones I have been with, and it was not just a dirty rad. All of our friends, hubby included bought the 09 850 xp from Polaris. They all love them, but only one has seen a complete summer and it has not caused the owner any problems. Like the others said, get the 09 if you can.

the Honda's have old technology for their suspension... you will come home with a sore back at the end of the day.

.... another vote for the polaris..... they are the deluxe machine!!!

Rincon is junk and am a Honda guy. I see the Suzuki King 750 quad advertised for $8699.00 brand 2009 It seems like a deal. Havent heard anything bad about them.

I have two rubicons and am not at all impressed witht the power....... but I have been a strict honda owner for the last 20 years........My vote right now would be for something else ....... honda has also lost some of it's reliability...... and it isn't good for the body at the end of a long ride.
