Looking for a cheap internet package.

Right now I have Telus, with my landline phone.
I want to ditch my landline, because I never use it, but still want internet.

Has anyone tried to tether with their Iphone and go that route?
I have 3 gigs a month usage to tether, and even considered to up my data and go that route..
It's slower, but not that bad. I think I use more than 3 gigs on my puter, with torrents... etc.

As far as I have seen, I can't get just internet, without a bundle.... like an x-box with that or cell phone.
I am with Bell on my Iphone,

I just want a lone internet package, any ideas??

get an air card from bell, it just plugs into a usb port

i use broadband surfer. $50/mth. sat internet. unlimited usage. not sure where they all cover

I am looking for a plan, not hardware..

That is why I stated what I have, and what I am looking for in terms of a plan.

hmmm... i get internet through my landline from telus. i told telus i just want internet but wont be using the landlline for phone. charge me $33.65/month

the only thing i use is my iphone by tethering,,,works pretty flawlessly and it was only an extra $35 a month to get 6gb on top of my cell plan. Before the tethering i had an air card and its a complete rip off if you ask me,,,had to buy the aircard for like $150 or sign a contract and its anywhere between $35-50 just for 1gb

if u have a smartphone i recommend the tethering
