Long tracking a 04 zr900

A buddy of mine has a zr and wants to long track it. We found a skid from a 01 mountain cat and a 1 1/4 track. Besides a tunnel extension would this set up work?

With that track you should be just fine in gearing and clutching. 900 are very forgiving cause of the torque.
