locked up front brake pads

quick question yall, i was tightenin the axle bolt and my pops grabbed the brake lever and shut the front brake completly now i cant get it back on to the disc because its compressed, simply enough how do i let the pressure out of the breaks so the pads open back up? much appreciated

The easiest would be to crack the banjo bolt loose and let the oil out from there,.. then bleed the system,..

Use a c lamp, or a big pair of water pump pliers, and squeeze the pads into the cylinder. the cylinder should push back far enough to get it back onto the rotor.
