I see quite a bit of warm 'n friendly & possibly distractive text on Trails, Recreation (Motors and No Motors), Tourism, etc. YET, I also see very few lines of trail/access-routes on the maps and I see specific and confining Rustic Camping which is far from Random Camping as Albertan's have known & enjoyed. I also see fracturing (broken continuity) and going back to the text, the looming threat of more justification for fracturing where areas might be deemed sensitive.
I see little or no off-trail considerations.
I also see no snowmobiling in Livingston range area.
Striking a happy environmental balance seems solely in the hands of the environmental groups that appear to have gained seats at the decision-making table, while directly affected Alberta municipalities, and traditional recreationists can't even get into the room.

Not Unlike Castle, this is concerning.

I alsop see a short timeline to respond to surveys: By April 26, 2018

I spent an hour reading both proposals last night. Total garbage. Was grumpy all day today.

I agree. Seems designed to frustrate current users. If you don't complete it, your voice won't be heard. The extreme environmentalists who are trying to polarize current users and demonize motorized users can't be allowed to win. They'll take away our freedom, and probably will never set foot in these areas. They're only disrupters. Don't have a worthy end goal or a real stake.

Its totel BS. Pretty much no more riding south of Calgary now. I think are only hope at this point, is to boot out the NDP next Election. And re implement the original S.S.R.P, released in 2014. Before the corrupt NDP changed it. That had over a decade of real research. And was fair in terms of real environmental protection and land use for all user groups.

Till then, the majority of my riding will probably be spent in BC and the US....

Frustrating short time frame the NDP is pushing this through with 1 month consultation period and implementation timeline < 1 year.

The affected area appears to includes all of CNP north of highway 3 including Atlas, Window Mountain, Racehorse Pass, Dutch Creek, Livingstone, Porcupine Hills etc. etc all now under new restricted OHV access. I copied the maps in from their 48 page master plan.

When filling out this survey, very important to state “I agree with the RAC recommendations, and I do NOT support the creation of a Bighorn Wildland Park”. The RAC did not recommend a park, and did not have consensus supporting it. This may be your only time to input ass the public on keeping this are as Public Lands, so speak up.

The only answer is government reform. We have too many assholes who take their paychecks from our pockets and have totally forgotten who they work for. Dont vote for anyone until they promise to fix this ****.
