Getting a target that looks like this makes my day.

5 shots 6.5 Creedmoor
100 yards
I can relate to that... took my new 6.5cm out this weekend, pulled the #6 shot low... not a bad group at 100 yards on break in 20200523_154937.jpg

Stopping in at Salmon Arm Mr. Mikes for a lunch and sitting in their padio section for a burger was a nice break after riding 2up over the backroad since 10am today.

Years ago now but my uncle used to own that Mr.Mikes. He would of owned it late 90’s to early 2000’s

It had been years since I walked into a Mr.Mikes lol. This one looks like they did a major face lift, everything looked new. The place is nice and though only had one meal there it was really good.

Yup, I did. 4 months before I actually retired.

A few months ago, I received a notification that I could start receiving CPP next year.

Found out an odd thing...If you are still planning to work till 65 or later, you have to make CPP contributions till your are 65. If you start claiming CPP at 60 and continue working till 65 you will be receiving a CPP payment but you also will be contributing to the plan for the next five years. I would think these CPP payments are calculated as income...therefore possibly increasing the amount of annual CPP payments owing to the government.

Would seem to me that if you start receiving CPP you should no longer be making contributions...seems sort of #ucked up if you ask me.

When I start collecting CPP in 3 months and continue to work part time I will be paying CPP on my paycheck. So I was thinking I should give myself a CPP pay raise. Not sure if the government would agree?

Took the dog for a walk yesterday and found a mom fox with her 5 very new kids living in a culvert down the road. We have three kids and I have to hand it to mama fox...she has 5 of them better under control than 2 of us have our 3 kids controlled.

Self taught myself on how to use autodesk design review this morning. I was putting it off for a while as I was set in my oldschool paper D size drawing and a red pen ways.

Amazing how intuitive the program is, and sooo much nicer then redlines by hand. Technology is a great thing lol

The small wins can sure put a smile on a guys face

I helped plant flower beds today

Can say I have never done that before.

Honestly was not that bad.

Just had to wash my front lawn after from the dirt.

Had a flat today but it happened on the job so I didn’t need to get my jack out.
