Mountain Mod all the way. Good guy to deal with and you are supporting local. His stuff will outlast any Boss seat IMO, don't need to ship out of country to have it repaired if you do tear it.

I have not had a MM seat but I think after my last Boss seat, that is the route I will go. I think it will be a better seat. I had a Boss on my 02 ZX I liked it but it started coming apart at the end the snaps had to all be replaced. i have only seen pics of the MMseat but from what I see it looks like a better seat. I really hated the snaps on the side it was just another thing to get riped off and rub funny marks into you leg! My 2 cents

was wondering if the HMP seats that you have are the ones that have the shovel and probe pouches in the back and the water bottle pouch on the front right hand side of the seat.

I had a boss on my M8 and I really did not like the fit and finish of it. I have a buddie (apex69) who got a Mountain Mod seat and it is great. His first one did not fit as nice as he wanted so he called the owner and chatted with him for a bit. The owner told him to send her back at his cost and he will re-work the seat for a perfect finish. in the end it turned out great and I will be looking at their products from now on! Just my 2 cents:)

No, these seats are the standard trunk model.
