Well I just got my running boards back from LineX. I got them done for 2 reasons.

#1 I was sick of the chrome and think this looks better.

#2 the hollow underneath of these running boards get filled up with ice, salt and gravel in the winter so if I ever bring it in my garage when it melts it leaves a few gallons on my floor. I had them spray foam the entire underneath before they LineX’d it.

Let’s see how they hold up, I think they look a lot better though.

Filling them with spray foam first is a great idea!! Good thinking. I'm also interested to see how they stand up over time

I thought so, can’t stand the ice/debris build up in the winter... No matter how much you pressure wash it it never seems to get it out of there. But when you walk into your shop the next morning there is a few gallons of slop on the floor. Thanks, me too.

looks good. how much did it cost you?

$400 in Fort Mac

Those look really good.
Great idea.

Thanks!

Didn’t know about the foam. Did mine last fall. Zero issues. Chrome running boards and Alberta’s salt road will never mix.

That looks great! Did you go with Linex too? They told me it would be an extra $180 to go with premium so I just went with the regular at their suggestion. Did you just go with regular too?

I have a set of Acadia full length boards that I got a young guy in Lashburn Sask to sand blast and coat for me. Now I just need to get the proper mounting brackets and put them on $150
