Both the top end and bottom end are holding up well.

the mitchells extra thick for me.. good on the top end but depending on what you did the day before the bottom end can have some stress.

Bacon is a food given to us from god, I am sure.

Matter of fact, we are making bacon wrapped burgers this evening for dinner. My mouth is now watering...

The ultimate, we tried making one at the last meat-strav but didn't have a smoker and it fell apart, but still tasted awesome.

Buy the Bacon Explosion - Ready to Heat and Eat!

I got pretty good at making these on the BBQ last summer....yummmmmers!

Edit: Jay beat me to it! LOL. I don't have a smoker either....just on the BBQ. Trick is double wrapped in foil...about 200 degrees. Cook for about 45min, turn over....45 more min...unwrap and put on top shelf...leave foil in BBQ or you will have flames...cook another 1/2 hr VERY CAREFULLY as this last 1/2 hr can turn it from food of the Gods to burned nasty in minutes!

So that is the trick... I will be trying this VERY soon, haha. It looks so good in pictures, and even our botched attempt was excellent... It is awesome to know you had some success with it on a standard BBQ

All this chat is enough to get a guy hungry...
