Here's my ride. I can't wait for snow to see what she's got. From what "Nutz" tells me I should have a perma grin all winter.:D

It's just a stock 162 with a few extra holes here and there. It's not on the spray; just a Boonie box to increase the chance of "operator controlled burndown".:Snowmobile1:

HEY SHREDD.... DID YOU ORDER YOUR CLUTCH KIT YET?? I ORDERED THE HIGH ALTITUDE KIT(ITS CHEAPER THAN THE MEDIUM/LOW ALTITUDE KIT, BELIEVE IT OR NOT). DOO YOU KNOW WHAT GEARS ARE IN IT, OR ARE THEY STILL THE STOCK GEARS AND CHAIN?? I BELIEVE I'M GONNA DROP A TOOTH AND GO 15 WIDE CHAIN(STOCK IS 13), BECAUSE THE 1000'S HAVE A STRONG TENDANCY OF BREAKING CHAINS........

Joey sent me an email that he won't get at mine until after the 12th. I'll get everything ordered up then. I'm getting him to send me a new secondary spring with my kit too, just to make sure everything is fresh in the clutches. My gearing is at 19-49, 15 wide. :beerchug:

THAT GEARING SEEMS A LITTLE HIGH?? MAYBE THEY MAY HAVE CHANGED THE GEARING IN '06?? WAS BOTH GEARS REPLACED TO PUT THE 15W CHAIN IN, OR DID THEY JUST CHANGE THE UPPER GEAR, WHICH IS WHAT IS USUALLY DONE??? I THINK MY STOCK UPPER GEAR IS 22 AND I WAS ONLY GONNA DROP TO 21, MAYBE I SHOULD DROP TO 20???

THAT GEARING SEEMS A LITTLE HIGH??

I thought it was pretty low gearing...2.58; I usually aimed for around 2.2. I was thinkin' of going to a 20 on the top to see if the track speed would come up a bit. I haven't even rode it yet...and I'm already thinkin of tinkerin'.:D:D I'll see what Joey figures is the best gearing to run with his clutch kit. ;):)
