If it becomes legal, they won't be able to use a urine sample for THC. They will have to use a swab or some other means to determine level of impairment. They can get away with it now because it is still an illegal substance.

A few new policy’s I have seen call it.

Fit For Duty for all staff.

Lists alcohol and drug impairment.

Shows steps on determining fit for duty.

Also lists what tests will be done and levels.

For example

Cannabis initial test cut off 50ng/ml confirmatory test cut off 15ng/ml

Cocaine 150ng/ml. 100ng/ml

Codeine/morphine 2000ng/ml 2000ng/ml

9 drugs listed on a few policy’s

Alcohol 8 hr before work
