If anyone should understand what a slide does to a family its him. He lost his brother to a slide in BC did he not? Just crickets though...

yup, brother Michel in the Kokanee glacier...body never recovered

yup, his brother was an avid back country skier and snowshoe/hiking addict ... It was sad

That's one helluva slide... I can only imagine how difficult it was for those involved to keep a cool head in the moment. I could practice day in and out and I'm still not sure how I would react in that situation.
