Anybody else run the Kurt's 'turbo & 3" track' geardown kit on their 2013 Pro?
Anybody tried to ever take it off again??
After I bought it, I had done some research and realized that apparently the 2013 drive shaft spines that the cog slips on is slightly larger than the later years 2014+ (at least if my memory serves me correctly..) and some people experience a tight fit when sliding the bottom sprocket on. When I installed 2 years ago, I most certainly had this same experience, but with a little persuasion, managed to get it on.
I just bought a new driveshaft with drivers and 3" track, so tried taking the belt drive off tonight and what do ya know, the bottom sprocket won't come off! Not sure what the best method may be that isn't going to bend the sprocket since it's a lot more awkward to try and bang or pry off versus banging it on where you can hit it square in the centre with a Mallot. If anyone else has had success in getting a very tight gear off before, please let me know your tips!
