Kootenay Riding Still Going Strong!

So the good - 12-15' at 7000' mid April? Yah we're still doing good and there was about 12" of fresh powder to boot! Lots of sun this week so probably looking at typical spring conditions this weekend. The bad - we get to go back this Sat to rescue buddies Rev after it dropped a cylinder and couldn't pull out of the bowl we had gone into lol!

I know that area looks like home to me haha we went up Sunday on the other side 58kms mostly tree riding in 5 hours boy were we tired. Talked to Barry he figures a reed when are you going up to get it? thx Wayne

We played hookey on Wed and went into Russel... All those lines were gone, but we put a few back in The small lake are was all fresh. Deep and soft in the shady gullies and trees!!! I was glad to see it's still winter up there

i watched the whole face of Airy slide a few years back took out all trees at the bottom for a few miles ... id say it was a class 4 ! nice pics tho

I could see that happening, that face is huge! There was remnants of a couple smaller slides but no activity when we were up that weekend or the one after. Really firmed up in a week though with all the sun.
