Is there a place in Edmonton that can replace soles on Klim Boots? I have the pair of last years that I used one weekend and the front of the sole on both boots is destroyed. Klim turned down the warranty. At the show the rep said apply for the warranty, they will replace once. So I like the boot not the soles. Shouldnt have to put urathane caukling on my boots every weekend I ride.

That just sucks Ron. One ride and a failure should be covered by warranty.

I don’t see the problem you were past the 1 yr warranty date that you bought them doesn’t matter how many rides because eveyone will bull**** the actual story we had a pair of boots replaced last season in March. I do agree the boot soles wear out to fast imo but hey get the claim in before time is up and not a problem

Purchased my boots November 28,2018 at Martins West. Emailed klim with inquiry in January, no correspondence from there. Wore my old boots all season while these spent there time on garage shelf getting buried as I was not a happy camper with them. Inquired at the Edmonton snowshow where a representative from klim said no problem send a photo and do a warranty claim using a tag from in the boot. I guess it has the year and date of manufacturing, that they go on. Never asked for the date of purchase on the warranty claim. They never said anything on that, just they don’t cover soles on the boots. Simple as that.

Don’t care anymore, I am getting a better sole put on my old boots if it works good I will get these done to and the soles on these boots it soft and they will just tear apart with a new pair in 10 - 12 rides.

Why isn’t Martins dealing with this for you? A retail dealer should have a relationship with their distributors that these got replaced, no questions asked.

Klim has a warranty program that they have to send through there website, I originally asked Troy about that. Different with skidoo I brought a jacket it and martin put a return request in to brp and they replied within hours and refunded 100% of funds. I’ll honestly say I knew I was basically screwed on the boots so it was just worth asking. Guess it also depends who you have on the other end making the decisions as well. I consider this a dead issue and all am looking for is a local cobbler that is good. I’ll send to the one in Calgary if I have to.

I've had both pairs of my klim boots warrantied one for the soles and one for the boa piece main attachment broke off. Soles were within the one year and the other pair were after almost 3 years.

Your lucky, here's my letter

Hello Ron,

Thank you for submitting a warranty with us. Unfortunately the damage on the boots is caused from wear and tear. Everyone rides differently and sharp will cut the treads. This is something that cannot be repaired or replaced.

Thank you,

I'm talking about the main spot that the boa goes into. Its exclusive to the boot and can't be replaced or warrantied by boa
