Its a Fox coating. Not a lot of people can do it.
The two shock bodies on my sled. The front experts have a nice coating, the rears are just raw aluminum. I dislike how it ages
I’ll probably send the bodies out to get anodizing that “looks” the same.
Look into cerakote, I did a bunch of parts on my motocross bike and it doesnt wear like anodizing. Seems to hold up much better.
Are they wear type items? What is the mail thickness?
Thinking out loud I guess you could do only the exterior and leave the inside “as is” from skidoo
just thinking like a cheapo here but would clear coat not be sufficient?
Throwing this out there, have you considered wrapping the shock bodies to match?
