Picture on your phone should be good enough for ID, the. , insurance and plates is reasonable . But I think it's BS they set up that far in. ( by Deadhorse) . If they're gonna do that set up right at the ticket bus, if you're gonna turn people around or ticket them do it right there. That far in, it seems kinda like a waste of everyone's time , and basically they're saying you can't ride the trail without proper docs, so if that's the actual goal, do it a the beginning of the trail and keep them off.

I agree do your check stop at the bus. Being a motor vehicle in Alberta we all know you need insurance and registration. It would not surprise me to see an alcohol check stop at the bus. JS

Not that I promote it, but I usually wait to have a beer at the Y that heads to Cecillia
You and I both know there are way to many intoxicated persons operating sleds on that trail. I myself do not drink and ride. But I do love a cold one when I get back to camp.

Thanks Chadd, that work.

It looks like MetroBlue isn’t the same

Meteoblue isn’t. I just found that the that the weather station last year was inconsistent. It’s nice having the different options. I rode in -25 last year at flat top while my neighbors rode -5 at Ruth. Same day. Chapped my azz.

Made er out to camp this weekend. Cold weather and hardly anyone around. Good snow pretty much all over. Sled was running like garbage in the morning. I ended up finding my mag side spark plug was coming in-threaded. Got that fixed up and it ran like a top for the rest of the day. Needs to warm up. Hopefully March is nice.

Cheers

Did you see the A-star buzzing around,.. they didn't get too close to us was curious if that was the fish and fur or if a sled was choppered out. Only saw 2 guys when we were on Cecilia route and another 3 on the trail,.. other than that we were alone all day,.. pretty awesome.

I heard him buzzing around around 3. I never did see him. Seen conservation on the trail. He was on a rev with a small skimmer.
