You would not want to get sick or have to go to the emergency here in PG, our medical system sucks big time

That is correct for Red Deer
That’s because all the funding goes to Edmonton and Calgary. Talked with a nurse there a few months ago, he was furious about the lack of funding for red deer. He said the service all the surrounding area and get nothing.

Their medical system is worse than ours.. Just ask that young man that just got arrested
But if you had the 1/3 of your pay cheque you pay in taxes to pay for healthcare you would be just fine. ch!t if I kept what I pay in taxes I could fly to Mexico and get what ever medical treatments I need as I needed it and still be ahead

We are being taxed to death and people like Justine Castro are writing checks like drunken sailors, giving it all to their greedy overlords. Or just plain throwing it away. They don't give a chit about us, they just use us like a piggy bank.

Sorry i have to correct your figures

In Alberta, healthcare spending typically accounts for around 42% of the provincial budget, similar to Ontario. For the 2024 budget, Alberta allocated $26.2 billion to healthcare, which is about 36% of the total budget.

maybe you're misreading my post. I didn't say anything about budget or what Alberta spends on healthcare.....I'm saying for the 1/3 of my cheque I pay in taxes I could buy a pretty fantastic health insurance plan in the US. or travel to Mexico and get what ever treatments I need and enjoy some time in the sun at the same time.

No i never misread your post, most people in canada do not realize how much health care costs, or the interest on our debt.

This "interest on our national debt " thing is just another form of money laundering. Every country owes every other country billions. Who is pocketing the interest?
