This "interest on our national debt " thing is just another form of money laundering. Every country owes every other country billions. Who is pocketing the interest?

Most of our debt is owned by Canadians or Canadian businesses. If you have an RRSP, own mutual funds, etfs, or have a pension odds are you own a small portion of Canada's debt and therefore receive a small portion of the interest payments.

Actually it looks like we all own part of the federal debt. Looks like the CPP owns a pretty substantial amount of bonds, which is likely federal government bonds.

That must be why Trudeau doesn't want Dani to start the APP, someone else would have to buy the government debt that the CPP currently buys up.

No i never misread your post, most people in canada do not realize how much health care costs, or the interest on our debt.

oh I'm fully aware how terrible our governments are at managing our funds. and I am fully aware how much they waste.....sorry spend on our healthcare system. I have built AHS facilities and I can tell you how much time and money they waste first hand. which again just reiterates my point that I would rather keep my money and manage my own healthcare plans with a private company that actually covers the important things. in fact I pay taxes that pay for AHS costs but everything I actually use healthcare wise is done through my health insurance I pay into at work. so really yi am double paying for the care I receive.

That young mans story is unbelievable. And to meet the love of his life while he was down and out. She stuck with him to the end and still to this day. Socialized Canadian medicine would’ve left him for dead.

Know someone who went into the doctor and complaining about some pain, she needed surgery to correct it. Doctor also gave her the medical suicide option if you didn’t want to proceed. It was a very minor surgery. She was blown away.

My two backup choices for healthcare. Fly to Calgary because my daughter has connection or fly to Mexico with money and hope they are as good as their dentists. Had the NDP not won the election with their mail in ballots maybe our healthcare could have been saved. I do not know anything about AHS or weather it covers US costs. Trudeaus 5 million illegals and hundreds of thousands of vaccine injuries were not helpful.
