How the heck will a small business manage that at the point of sale? How the heck will CRA mange that for GST submissions? How the heck will the consumer know they are actually getting the cut and on what at the point of sale? Without a list and being diligent I can't see this going well. I imagine most businesses won't do a damn thing and just pocket the extra.

Then in May/June Trudeau is going to say that sales are up, people are spending, businesses are making money, and life is good under the Liberals. It's a shell game. Once again pumping more gov money into the economy. We will be bit in the azz by the interest rates that economists are now saying won't drop as much due to this move.
