Well just weighed new 163 xm sp with full tank of fuel?According to our local racetracks car scales it weighs in at 540 full of gas!!Not bad a full 100 lbs lighter than the old popcorn popper.Now just got to get driver in shape!!

WAs sarcasm I've been saying all along they will be within 30 lbs. then start stripping it down to bare bones and they will weigh the same. Apples to apples

also see on doo talk where they weighted a 163 full of fluids at 552lbs, and after gutting the easy weight it was close to 530

163 is 424 dry. 11.5 gallons of gas=70lbs. 5.5 quarts coolant=11lbs. 3quarts oil=6lbs. Total=511lbs. Maybe add a couple pounds, for good measure.

Fuel weights .711kg /L and it holds 11.5 us gallons X 3.78 =43.47L X .711 =30.9kgs or 67.99 Lbs His math is pretty close I think.

I don't care what BRP ,Polaris or Cat have to say about there weights. When you hang them on a scale that is what they weigh. The 2008 xp 163 x with this same scale came in at 498lbs full of fluilds and gas. Added the gas because some don't thing gas is a fluid. lol
Apex 162 with no gas was 629lbs. RT 1000 with light weight seat, Dyno port pipe and light weight can with the foam stripped and no gas was 600 lbs.

if you got the 163 under 500lbs full of fluids in 08, it took some work, mine came in at a stock weight of 528lbs

I guess someone's scale is off , isn't it?
This was a digital scale that all machines were lift by the bars till sled was free.
