ok i had thought the 163 pro was 417 dry, now your saying 515 wet, with 10 gallons of fuel and coolant, that cant make 100 lbs

also see on doo talk where they weighted a 163 full of fluids at 552lbs, and after gutting the easy weight it was close to 530

where did shed 22lbs? Can? thx

I don't care what BRP ,Polaris or Cat have to say about there weights. When you hang them on a scale that is what they weigh. The 2008 xp 163 x with this same scale came in at 498lbs full of fluilds and gas. Added the gas because some don't thing gas is a fluid. lol
Apex 162 with no gas was 629lbs. RT 1000 with light weight seat, Dyno port pipe and light weight can with the foam stripped and no gas was 600 lbs.

My 1000 is fairly well stripped and has Bakerlite skid it does have 162x3 but weighed 640 full to brim!We also weighed the following sleds 08 xp 154 full-556,07 rev 151 2.5 full-555,04 rev 600 with a 700 engine and 151x16x2 full-554,tricked out 07 rev with 860 no injection every possible thing remove including chain tightner 163x3"-557 full, and a zx triple with 151x2" and boss seat lexan hood, no injection system and it weighed 572 full! These were all done on highly accurrate nascar style wheel scales. They are calibrated regularly for racing purposes! If you can get a sled near 500lbs full you have spent some serious bucks from what i can see?Unless ofcourse these scales are 50lbs out which I doubt.

we all have cans tho so its 33 stock but 23 with a can all good

thanks for weighing them
My buddy was very good about it! He did not think this new one would be this light ? He weighed his last year sled and it was 535. So they did shed alot ! The two sleds feel similar as we had enough snow here to play in stubble!i think the sleds will be close! He said a after muffler only drops 1.5 pounds on Polaris so little gain there'

So if your saying 23lbs with stock can and 30 with a can and my stock can is 18.1lbs and TSS can is 4lb that brings us down to 14ish lbs lower so now you are only 7lbs lighter and then minus the the extra coolers we carry and track and more fuel we have. So maybe we are even lighter then a poo. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

33 stock to stock 23 with can! Depending on can it's a 10-15 lb saving! So no matter how you look at it the pro is a honest 30 lbs lighter ! While its not a ton it's a fair bit! What that means in the hills is yet to be seen? Like I said my tugboat weighed 640 and on a straight pull I never seen a stock or even most big bores go by!

Is having the lightest sled really gunna be worth it if you have to call a chopper to make it out of the mountains? Im sure the helicopter pilot will love the fact that your sled is light. Add a few more pounds on for the next trip when you decide to revert back to a reliable driveshaft that isnt meant for a toy.

I already sold my 13 pro. Rode it once In The alpine and put 3 tracks on a hill. Took my friends 13 m800 and hit the hill the same and way out Climbed the pro. So they may be lighter. But they have considerably less power than cat or doo

I really liked the sled. It's easy to ride and very predictable. I just didn't want to spend a ton of cash on it to keep up to others. I would guess it to have 145 hp stock. Just not a sled for me. I would rather own the doo or cat 800
