Just talked too specialty, they recommend for larger guys too do HD springs which I agreed with, Shrek is going the bushing route on his 174 and we’re both big boys so , we will let you know what we think, clearly raptors is the way too go but pretty pricey !

Even as much as I hate Eastern Canada right now. The elka stage one/two might be a better option than a revalve.

I’m going too see what these heavy springs do, set the suspension up a little stiff and I’m hoping that’s all it takes,I have a hard time justifying paying three grand for shocks although if I win that lottery

i put the big boy springs on the back, and spring spacers from "duck" on the site here... Was perfect, and i'm sure i outweigh you still lyle

maybe talk to MB suspension. they are out of sherwood park and should be able to upgrade your springs and valving for a decent price.

They got them yes, Monterey ski saver bushings, 90 bucks, I went with heavy springs, think it’s a better decision for a big guy. If needed can do spacers later, think that may be too much though

I walk around about 230, I have fat boy springs and the spacers, night and day difference. Do yourself a favour and install the spacers when you do the springs, save you the trouble of doing it later.

Springs are in, I have a couple sources that say it’s too stiff, decided too go one step at a time. Learned over the years that a guy should’nt throw all the updates in at once,don’t want too ride a surfboard !

You can put one torsion spring in if you feel its too stiff.

Yea, ran a powderfreaks t stat in mine and it definitally helped a lot on low snow trails.

I ran a Trygstad thermostat. It’s just a straight thru type deal. No thermostaT in it. Sometimes it will kick the engine into warm up mode which is a pita but it doesn’t back off timing on long springtime pulls so I guess it’s a trade off.

I could say much the same with the billet thermostat, seen one bar lower in low snow.
