Always been a doo guy. This thing was so cheap and always wanted to test ride an axys so I couldn't help but buy it at auction.
1. One of the btm tabs on a side panel is broken and barely holding on. Not sure what type plastic it is. Can I plastic weld it or use some sort of of plastic glue. What do you guys suggest?
2. Both front lower A-arms are broken. Tops look fine but personally no way of knowing. Also, sway bar looks fine from pics? The last thing here is when I go to look for replacement A-arms they always list different sizes. Never had this with Ski-doo. Not sure my front end. Is stock 36"? Cheapest replacement A-arms in Alberta?
3. Where does this grommet belong? Was sitting in belly pan and cant find its home.
4. Someone snipped wires on the handlebars and looks like stock type loom with that mesh sheathing. Any ideas what it was? Reverse works as well as kill switch on handlebars.
5. Last thing being the rail picture I linked. Is that circle normal? All friends RMK PROs had the square retainer on both sides and not a circle on one side. Maybe axys is different.

I've checked all the casting throughout the thing as best as I could to check for hidden damage and cant find any before I start to throw parts at this thing instead of parting out. Motor runs fine.

Most years of Axys chassis came with 38" arms. I think only the 2019 and 2020 came with 36". But you can get aftermarket 36" replacement arms that work with the 38" shocks.

If you want to keep it you should fully clip the track. See in your picture you can see where the hyfax is damaging the corner of the unclipped widow. Also the stock A-Arms lowers are fairly easy to find from guys that have narrowed their sleds. So you have a choice, narrowing it or run it stock width but for narrowing you need all 4 aftermarket arms that will work with the longer shocks.. Those wires are likely for the heated grips unless that loom originally went to the right side of the bars where it could also be for the throttle safety switch. Not sure on the rubber grommet but it does look like the plug that accesses the top shock bolt.
