I looked in behind and didn't see anything. From now on I might limp back to trailer and pull clutch. Pain in ass but some of us are more unlucky than others. Lol.....
If there is cord behind the clutch,there is no limping anywhere, you pretty much need to pull the clutch right there if you suspect there is an issue. Regardless how slow you go or taking it easy, the clutch is still going several thousand rpm. That being said I would dig in to your situation, as I've run my xp for 4500kms and never had belt issues like you, and I've done the long WOT pulls too and at 300 pounds all geared up its no easy task for my belt I'm sure, somethings wrong there. At 200 bucks a pop, you don't want to be buying those every trip
