January Snow Conditions

Up Renshaw today , roughly about 2.5 feet of sticky fresh everywhere , and snowing hard on the way out . Was socked in all day , so I'd imagine not many guys got to far , should make for an epic day tommorow if the snow keeps up overnight and the sun comes out . The trail was also in excellent condition up and down !

UPDATE Friday night January 22


All 7 of the guys that are staying with us went up to Belle all day today and said that the trail going up was in mint shape!
It was snowing heavy all day up there! Visibility wasn't the greatest! Lot's of fresh snow!
The guys are heading back up there tomorrow and with a little bit of luck we will finally see sunny skies!!

Was up renshaw yesterday 2.5 feet of fresh in the tree and really wet and props to hot rod for a great trail

UPDATE Saturday morning January 23rd

According to the groomer there was 10 inches of new snow around the Renshaw cabin just last night!!

The Renshaw Trail was groomed last night and will most likely be groomed again tonight!
The Trail to Lucille will be groomed tonight.
The Trail to Belle is still in decent shape and will be groomed Sunday or Monday.

Renshaw today. Rode fresh snow all day, didnt see another track until noon, some real deep spots in the trees. Still be careful out there; two Pros with smashed A-arms today on rocks that were barley covered.

Anyone have reports for Luicille today? Only riding a half day tomorrow and probably going to check it out there

Yup good snow but overall low. Lots of rocks JUST COVERED !! In the open wind blown areas. Be careful. One bent A arm. Saw a. Sled getting chopperd out. Must have been a few casualties. Trees were amazing great day with some sun. Rode fresh all day

Rode Renshaw today had a blast good snow up top but the trail is need of snow. It was a hot ride up all Ice from the rain for at least half the ride. All and all one of the best days I have in a while.

Half day at Luicille today. Starting to get pounded out in the main areas. Still found fresh and blue skies. Forecast looks pretty good for the week tho!

We rode Belle Saturday. Lots of fresh to be found.

Rode Lucille on Thursday. Excellent grooming on trail! My compliments from a fellow groomer! Was nice to meet you at the PetroCan! Sledding was pretty good as well!

UPDATE Monday January 25th

The Renshaw Trail will be groomed tonight.
The Trail to Belle was groomed last night!!!
The Trail up to Lucille was last groomed on Saturday and will be groomed again sometime this week.

Currently it's sunny here with a few clouds at -2C.

Probably no different then what we reported from Saturday. Weather network had no new snow to report for the area.

UPDATE Tuesday January 26th

It's been snowing heavy out here at the Scarecrow Farm since this morning!!!
3 of the guys staying here are headed to Belle this morning, we will update you guys on the conditions up there once they get back!


Trail to Renshaw was groomed last night.
Trail to Belle was groomed Sunday night in is still in very good shape!!
Trail to Lucille was groomed last Saturday and will be groomed again soon.

Avalanche Rating went from high to considerable!!

Current temperature out here is -2C
