ANOTHER four to five inches of snow overnight in town. Much more up top. Currently -3, no wind and still snowing. Firefly is here, so I will see if he will post some pics for us tonight. Looking good for Mountain Mania weekend.
The heavens have opened and the gods have replied!!! Just talked to Hotrod and the Renshaw has once again been dumped on! All trails in excellent shape and 2-3ft of new and maybe more! He went up for a ride yesterday in bluebird skys and took 15 to 20 pokes to get up the middle saddle, the kind of snow where you have it pinned on a slight incline and your barely moving. Then he went up and groomed and could barely see where he was going it was snowing so hard. Plumped up again folks, hope it hangs around for MM6!! See Ya There! Higgins.
My buddies that rode renshaw today said it was amazing and yes it was a workout to get hills that usually in a 1.5-2ft of fresh u usually just cruise up.
The gods have answered our snow dances boys and girls!!! Solid 18" - 24" and I'm being pretty reserved with those numbers! Lots of stucks and some sun made for an unreal day! Ride Safe!
In McBride for the week, helped Hotrod service the groomer, kind of. He worked and i watched with beverage. Then ran into these lovely ladies as they came down from Lucielle. The mother told me they were the only ones on the hill but they didn't go to far from the cabin so she couldn't give me a good update but she said it was good. Ran into her husband a little later and they had gone to Renshaw but didn't go anywhere because it was snowing hard all day! Sounds real good!
Here is a few pics from last Weds, Thurs in Renshaw. Have a great ride this weekend Peeps!!! I wish I wasn't working!!!
A huge thanks to Judy for an awesome stay at Mountain Haven B and B and Glen from Spin Drift for letting me steal his personal M8 (Mountain Goat!) on Thursday.
