So here is the updated information from the station on Belle Mountain. It shows that we are slowly getting above the "Minimum" recorded level.... but still no where near average yet. Here is the web address:

We aren't sure when these maps will be completed. Canadian Avalanche Centre are the ones working on them and they are still in the beginning stages. Will let everyone know as soon as we have an idea when/where they will be available.

-14 this morning, no wind and more snow fell overnight. Probably about six+ inches in town in the past 24 hours. Snow is still coming down and is supposed to continue for the next few days. Barry busy doing snow removal today again.

Our guests were up Belle on Thursday and reported 3 to 4 feet of fresh powder. They had a great day yesterday and weren't sure where they were going to ride today. I think "Firefly" will be posting some pictures when they get home tonight (if they don't decide to stay an extra day).

Renshaw trail is getting groomed this evening and I watched 4cm of snow accumulate in the parking lot at Belle in 3 hours. The road to Belle parking lot was graded twice today but the snow is still coming down like crazy, will post some pics later.

Spent the day in the trees in Lucille today, found some very deep stuff, spent 1/2 the day shoveling! Bring on the snow!

It's been snowin for 3 days already and isn't supposed to really stop till about next thursday.

We road the last two days, Thursday Belle - Today Renshaw. Crazy Crazy snow!!! The highway is shut down so we may as well get a morning ride in :d Here are a few pic's, it was just to fun riding. When this snow storm ends, there is going to be some insane riding to be done!!!

Maybe that would explain why there's only 2 trucks in the North Country Lodge parking lot?!?! Can't wait to get back out there tomorrow. Thanks to everyone in McBride who make this such an awesome place to come riding!

Don't worry this time around there will be so much snow to be stuck in you wont' need to be in the trees, There is sooooo much snow out there it is insane! I have attached a couple of pics of Belle parking lot, It got plowed today but after 3 hours there was already 4 inches! It was actually snowing "balls" of snow today CRAZY!

Well at the rate its coming down I think you will get your wish! I hope to see you on Renshaw on Friday! You'll have to keep Quagmire out of the trees this time around though! LOL
