Hmmnnnn I guess you don't spend alot of time in this part of the forum as I first heard about it in Dec/Jan I believe in the Snowmobile chat section here, not at a doo dealer, or a doo site or section. That said, I've NEVER seen an ad to test ride a Poo in recent years unless you go to their website.
To be honest, I'm not a Doo-laid drinker.
I was buying a Pro this year until I heard the rave reviews across the board from almost everyone that demo'd an XM. Did some research and test rode my buddies '12 Pro and made my decision based on that. I wasn't impressed by it and took a chance on the Doo. No regrets-although I will say I haven't ridden a '13 yet but now hearing about the serious issues they have been having glad I didn't go that route. Also just to irriterate that I'm not biased, I didn't like any of the Doo's much before this even though I was riding an '04 Rev.

Bottom line if SnowTraxx demo'd a '13 Pro and a '13 XM and went with the pro they need to give their head a shake IMO just based on reliability and issues alone.

Ya you guessed right... my surfing forums comes and goes... there can be months pass that I don't check any forums.... or could even be bothered.. there are too many days with not enough hours...
Bottom line... SnowTraxx demo'd a "13 Pro a "13 XM and I imagine there was a '13 SnoPro there as well.... It was probably for a couple days or so?? and obviously the Pro didn't breakdown so the flatlanders might have based there opinion on something other than reliability.... My opinion, I am surprised that it was not the XM!! but really who cares!

There was this guy that knew this guy that second cousin once removed uncle's brother's son that once heard while at band camp that...

Good attempt but I feel no need to validate that a certain sled is crap. I know that they are all crap and have a short half life. This is so the dealers can keep dealing and the parts counter can keep overcharging. The sled game is no different than the crappy vehicles that are on the roads today...unless its a CHEVY!!!

LMFAO Are you kidding? I never said the sled was crap - just that there is as much evidence for both sleds. Personally I like the XP. but...you will validate the new Pro faults from a couple pics and then turn around in the same paragraph and say the opposite about the 08 when presented with the same "tangible" evidence? Got Hardcore Doo Fan? LOL Take the blinders off.....

I was one of the test dummies in '08, along with 4 of my buds. there were plenty of problems, belts, handwarmers, shorting wires, choked off intakes, frayed and broken pull cords, but we never had a driveshaft let go....lol.

LOL - Thanks Tee.

no sweat dude, with everything fixed up it has been the best sled I have ever owned. the only problem I keep having is with drop brackets breaking. she's gotta last me one more season and momma says I can get a new one. almost pulled the trigger on an XM this season but the little voice in the back of my head said "NO!! Not again!!" lol....so far the little voice was wrong, the ones I've rode with so far are kickin' azz. seat of the pants says to me that the p-tek has more jam than the e-tec, but the chassis improvements make up for the feeling of less power, or perhaps they are the cause of it.

I know exactly how the poo camp feels with the grief they are having with the new pros, hang in there boys, you have a finely crafted fully capable mountain machine that just needs some issues adressed. enjoy your sled of the year. I suspect that next year's model may have some BNG and hopefully some more hp, but I think the focus will be on refinements to the current model.

I myself never had too many issues, I shimmed my clutch, put a brace in, beefed up some springs, got the updates (shaft, warmers, oil rezy), and it was an awesome sled. no real issues, except the fraying oil pump cable.

lol...me too. read all this and the old '08 'doo shaft thread modman linked...good times.

No, I said they are ALL crap. Just happens that I ride a Doo and have for years, but ride my Cat, my Poo, my Yamy too. Just my doo is my fav at this time. All my sleds are, for different things like trail, mtn etc but as my fav is my Xp, it is my duty to belittle all the less fortunate that cant own the best.. Dont take offense fellow sledders, just put another sticker on yournfavorite helmet when you go out to the mall with your mommys...

It would appear by your comments that you may in fact have some of super dudes puddin' on your chin. Why the hate?
