Hey, I doo that all the time. The handicapped stalls are all full of jacked up Super Duty's from the dudes with the sandals and white shades, so where else can an ol' fart park?
I didnt read the entire thread, maybe somebody already posted this, but very relevant to the thread if not.
Council Says Yes to Wholesale Sports Variance Requests
Wholesale Sports renovating a new location in PG, want less parking stalls and much smaller than city bylaws. I guess they only cater to import vehicles?
You ride doo, that is a shoe in on your application for a handicap stall, Doug! LOL
Plio is right. I used to be in the Civil Eng biz (survey summers, design draft in winters) and I recall designing some parking lots on Autocad...had to be certain sized stalls and certain number of handicapped spots...plus certain grading for drainage. There are specs for EVERYTHING right up to the color and width of the lines used. I think minimum width was 3.17m.....?
I haven't been in that biz for 15 yrs...3.17 jumped out for some reason...I killed those brain cells with beer long ago apparently.Edmonton city spec is 2.7m x 5.4m looked into it a bit today. This has been the same spec since 1979.
Just at cdn tire red deer, spaces are 8 ft 5 inches by 17 ft long. Not sure what happened there? And the lanes between parking stalls is not that much either. Sorry i didn't measure. So i can see why some need 4 spots, Glad to see your making em bigger chris, thanks i think it will help.
did you measure them or eyeball them....at your age I wouldn't trust those eyes......bwa hahaha
can you believe this D&D driver? decides to park it right on the highway in GP.....http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/aa123/teeroyfte/dndcostco_zpsfa42e406.jpg
