Clutches were a tad loud today, sounds like something twisted enough that the primary was rubbing on the panel.

that old hair line crack split wide open today.

Got a new plate on order.
looks fairly straight forward, has anyone replaced this part yet?

The casting is not so good but Maybe take a look at the possible crack. Notice the rust color on each side of the weight arm also. That shows evidence of vibration. Add in the cracked TCL and it can be tracked back to vibes.

I don’t have a fix but my thought is that the wear from vibration may start nickel and diming you to death. Just a thought to consider.

You may want to check your engine mounts for play, for sure if its a high miler. The culprit is usually the mag side mount but could be all of them. Depending on the year the mounts have been changed up or at least the part number changed. As for the arm c/o it is straight forward, it is also a good chance to inspect/replace the left jackshaft bearing.

Thanks guys. I will have a look at the above mentioned. She does vibrate so. We'll see what else is busted
