Is clutch work required for 21/49 gear down on a 2016 M8000?

Like the title says, do I need clutch work if I go to a 21/49 geardown setup?

That isnt gearing down, that is gearing up. You want to go faster?

The 16' cats came with 7tooth drivers and were geared to low. Put the gears in and ride it to see what RPM it pulls. Its worth getting a set of adjustable weights too.
