Forecast looks good for next week.

Northstar glacier is quite flat and not great for skiing. Really no reason for it to be closed to sledders other than the old boys club that keeps digging in their heels but there is a new recreation officer starting soon. There is hope that the new person will have no personal ties to the non motorized group and will make a decision based on reality not friendships.

Grooming will continue until at least next week.

There is a group hosting an event next weekend, we're not sure how it's going to go but I expect lots of big air and crazy climbs.
Yes heard that to. Jumps, catered food up top. I think Banners is involved with it somehow. Heard they are expecting 200 peeps.

I think it is Saturday the 13th Aaron.

you are correct. Banner will be up here with demo rides for the new snocheck season. There will be some big name riders there putting on a show as well 1 or 2 skidoo ambassadors. Should be a good time if the weather holds out.

We drove to the 33 2weeks ago with no issues, half ice half mud. It's dried up alot since then in the valley. I'd say yes but early morning would be best.
We had rain in the valley and about 15cms at the top of Pano yesterday so there should be some fresh on the glacier.

Is there anywhere online to find out more information about the April 13th thing?

Today was a good one, blue ski and fresh snow on the glacier. Solid 30-50 cms. Trail is pretty good considering time if year.
Road is dry to 27.7, a couple mud sections to 33km but no issues. Might get softer if temps go up.
This guy parked right beside the groomer wtf dude? Would have been pissed if we needed to fuel the groomer or work on it. Not enough signage I guess?
