Opening day today was good, reaally thin in the meadows. Lots of hazards just beneath the snow.

Snow was deep above whirlpool, getting there was spicy. It never feels right when your roosting slush and water.

Road is plowed but slippery, logging at 31km and plowed to 33km.

It really doesn't take long to track out an area does it!

Looking good. Those lakes don't take much to hammer out with 8 or 10 sleds. Anybody been back into paradise or up north at Rocky or anything yet?

Ya this weekend looks like it'll be great. Maybe try a day trip if nothing else! You going up Darcy?

I hope so, depends on snowfall at the resort. If its deep I'll need to help my crew plow roads.

Out There
Rocky Point- Can drive to 17km. Would recommend not to go further although made it to 20km.
2 feet of snow at Rocky Point sign around 30km. Did not go up trail but spoke to lodge guy and he said 5 feet of fresh fell up top in the past week.

There room to get the small enclosed out there? The old man is taking the little open trailer down to the states with his fifth wheel.

No, hasnt been alot of snow yet in that area. Might be worth a look now though, have had 60ish cms of snow this week at the resort and big winds.

Might not be the best going in with the slide risk too there's a couple pretty good sized chutes to cross isn't there?
