It would cost AC very little to include the 174 option for those who would like more length to get up on top during the deep pow days with a hundred extra pounds of 4 stroke. I find it somewhat irritating that both Poo and Doo offer the 174 and Cat still hasn't stepped up, WTH.

Take the time to read the artical and learn about the 181 inch track they are testing.

I read the article, but I think that Cat missed the boat for this year. The 174 has been out for years and is proven to be a very good track. For very little investment Cat could have had the 174 out on this model year and still been working on the 181 for a later date.

Maybe you should take the time and read the article. He's being a tad sarcastic. The 181 is not happening, or the 5 cylinder. Sorry.

I wonder what the actual take rate is of 174" vs 163" x3" with BRP. I think the 163 has much higher sales vs their 174.

I believe that niner is correct it was sarcasm as was the guy givin him a deposit.

"I really wish I could tell you more about the 5 cylinder radial piston, five valve,
overhead push rod two stroke engine that is powering the 375 pound unobtainium
sled that we are testing! It has a 181-in. track and...that’s all I can say for now (laughs).

That being stated, it would be an interesting statistic tofind out how many 174 vs 162 are sold... now with 3.1/4 lug

two bits on the ALL NEW 2017 King Cat

2017 King Cat... from a rider of the 4 strokes since they came out, non-turbo and turbo models,,, this is definitely
going to be a game changer for the Mountain riders. Stock engine over 208 hp ? factory turbo? Team clutching...
fox suspension . adjustable steering post on a four stroke.....

check the specs self adjusting clutch for belt tension 12.5 % lower takeoff ratio....cooler belt temps...

yes only a 162 (lol) but im confident there will be someone out there with 174 kit.... :) 162 is still can trail ride....
remember they are all customizable..:)

19,499.00 retail hmmmm how much to make any other new sled 200 reliable hp ? 4-5000? and what mods do you
need to make?

so If you spent 2-3000 on this sled im thinking prob close to 280-300 hp by ecu reflash , exhaust clutching ?
(based on twin turbo 1100/9000 upgrades) n sled remains 95% stock.

Im sure light weight parts are available, shed some 30-40 plus lbs depending on cost... '

I for one am anxious to get on one....!!!

The 162 will probably work okay if the rear suspension can handle the power?
I would guess it won't without being coupled so 174 required to help out?
Big heavy sled with lots of power in the deep most times don't work out to well.
Hopefully my remarks are not a issue and it is awesome?
Nice sled

Next your going to suggest not drinking Gibbie's or something equally as crazy

Now that would be just ridiculous!

Guys, I am not that crazy. Holy cripes. I live off 3 drinks; coffee, red wine, whiskey - in alphabetical order.

Where are you getting the 208hp. from? All I see on Cats site is 180hp.
