Matthew 7:7 Jesus says:

If "every one who asks receives", then if we ask for cancer to be cured, it should be cured. Right? If "our Father who is in heaven gives good things to those who ask him", then if we ask him to cure cancer, he should cure it. Right? And yet nothing happens.

you cant expect God to answer prayers that arent backed by faith! you aslo cant ask for something and then when he gives it to you the next day be sinful and un-repentent........or however you pronounce that word lol

FAITH , you have to have faith in jesus that he'll answer your prayers , constantly picking apart his teachings is far from faithful.

So faithful people dont get cancer? Any faithful people ever been cured of cancer?? Or did a doctor and modern science play a part??
I have a strong dislike for people who abuse the inocent. People like you and your kin that explain away these action as the devils work and turn a blind eye to it are as guilty as the perpetraitor's.

you cannot group all christians into one group as hypocrites, nor can you blame christianity for the atrocities in this world. Chrisianity did not cause these atrocities, peoples free will and becoming caught up in selfish desires and trying to keep up with what the world feels is the right thing to do is what has caused these atrocities that you speak of.
Yes many wars have been started and many people have died defending their beliefs, many people have done horrible things to others, people who were high ranking in the christian culture, however it was the person/people that started the war or performed the act that did it not christianity it self.
i used to be like you saying it is all B.S., then the wife made me look deeper into it before drawing conclusions on it. The fact that the bible has never had any part disproven, and can be scientifically backed up, was wrote by nearly one hundred different authors and pennned over thousands of years and one authors account to anothers is nearly the same and predictions from the old test. happened in the new test. etc. kinda opened my eyes.
basically what i am getting at as we are all free to believe what we want but i feel sorry for those of you who chose to not even get facts together on christianity, before coming to a conclusion, that is based on the atrocities caused by the free will of men/women who are the hypocritical christian, thus giving the religion a black eye, so to speak to some peeps.
Yes maybe Joey s way of coming out with things is sometimes rash, but he is doing what he believes in and trying to save others. But when someone says no leave it alone, at least you planted the seed, it is now up to them if they want it to grow. in my opinion if he ws my son, whether i believe what he does or not, i would rather him be believing in what he does than what most other kids his age are believing in now. i.e. the meth pipe or the bucket of blow.
but that just my 10 cents everyone is free to have their own beliefs.
