if you're sealing the concrete do that before spilling any mud or paint on it, or yourself; be easier to cleanup, and you won't be painting around the legs (of the workbench) unless you want too. (lots of pics)

as far as painting the floor when i did mine i did it after all the work was done and i did mine in january had to crank the heat up to get it to dry enough to be able to put my stuff back in it i used a product thats available in calgary great stuff shoot me a pm when your ready to paint and ill give ya the guys name

I'm going to have to acid wash the floor first right?! I really don't know much about what I need to do.

yeah I have to seal a couple spots that have heaved. And that's what I was thinking to avoid the pain in the bum of trying to paint around crap.

to get the stains and oil out you're going to clean it for sure. I'm no expert so I recommend going to you're local building store and reading the labels, talk to someone in the construction industry, do a little research and once you're confident dive in. enjoy

Yep, I will be doing that. I am in the construction industry so it won't be hard to find out the info.

that's good; talk to your concrete guys, they might even be able to provide you with the right acid mix. have fun
