10 hours each way. Hunted high and low for an all original, clean Yamaha Phazer. Finally found one!! My daughter LOVES it. The crazy things we do to make our kids smile! (And me a little bit) lol blown away by how clean this unit is and it runs just about perfect. Think it needs the clutches cleaned and a new belt. Some fresh gas and plugs and it sounds like new.

The Phazer may be the best tween to teenage child learner sled.
Noting has been made since the Phazer that compares in the category, excellent finds when in good shape.
We have 4 not for sale Phazers.
To much fun to sell.

I searched for years for one. Finally a nice one popped up. Definitely staying in the family. I got it home and my wife and daughter ripped around the yard for a good hour. Then I took it through the trails and remembered just how fun they are lol quick little drift machines

Must have been hard to drive by all that snow on the way home and not take it for a rip.

Through lake Louise there was probably 8 ft in the ditches and I was pretty confident that the phazer would get stuck almost immediately lol got home to a foot of fresh in my yard though so that was perfect

I love Phazers... Period. That genuine unit right there is a certified ripper!

IMO the old yamaha stuff is just too cool. Snoscoot/snosport, phazer, inviter, ovation, soo many cool designs that need to be seen more. Then the big dogs like the Exciter SX and Vmax 4... SRX....

I waited long time for this sled and it is every bit as impressive in person.
Paint not worn by your feet and boards not even sagged.
Even the Riverside sticker like new, no seat tears or popped seams.
Have had i for about 6 years now, kids ride it once in a while.
About 3700ish km on it, not checked in a while.
Have posted pics of it a few times on the site.

Looks like my buddies old ‘87. He had like 27000km on it when he finally sold it. Was on its second engine. Good machines. Terrible to side hill in the dark though lol.

Holy jeebus that thing is mint. Keep it in the family forever. I'm pretty sure yamaha is the only brand that made a sled that will start 1st pull cold even after 35 years lol

Just bought my friends 1996 moutain light 136 inch track looks the same. Got it for 1600 he's the first owner and it can be riden in the mountains it has a altitude compomsator. I brought my kids up on phazers until they started to out ride the sleds, great sled for a starter. If you want to slow the sled down, I put a hose clamp under the throttle with the screw end facing the throttle. This way you can move the clamp when you want some more throttle.

Surprised you remember anything at your age
Your tales of grandeur are not easily forgotten. After the rapture when all the Christians have joined the Heavenly Father, mortal men will gather amongst the ruins cooking raw meat over open fires recounting the days when a young Joey joined up to Snowandmud and amazed all with his story of the legendary 100mph Phazer. And Maxwell pining for his sister.

Have fun with the horse sized locusts and boils all over your body
