the turbo is worse... my 175 turbski burns a full tank and half a stacker easily every ride, half a tank of oil as well. I figured it would be better than my old XM turbo... boy was I wrong.

Not sure why you guys think this is a new problem i been running out of gas since 1997 lol. The nice thing about the etec is on the trail if u keep the raves closed it get amazing mpg. Ya the fuel gauge sucks same as on the quads. U know u have a problem when u got 20 liters on the back of the sled lol so much powder and only so much gas . I always get a chuckle at the guys with no Jerry can.

We have hauled 25L Jerry cans on running board, just ratchet strap through the handle and to each tubing board. It stays pretty good

back in the day. used to take 10L jugs on the running boards, 1 each side and a 20L on the tunnel

Exactly!
Stack the linqs two high and then soft saddle bags with 10Liters on each side of the seat.
I used to travel with just over 40 liters extra.
Some where on here (S&M)is a thread - Long Range XP.
Had about 250km range.

Thread should be back in the spring of 09.

I did the two 10 litre cans on the running boards
I used a strap that came with my snow bunji over my gas tank they hung just on the boards friends called me saddle bags
this is as well as the mountain addiction can on tunnel
I liked the less weight on tunnel seen enough tweaked tunnels from 20 litres on them
