Cooke creek is back door to hunters isnt it?
Its not kingfisher,it's Laforge, and Yes these are the steeper alpine areas of hunters range/owls head/mara mt. These would have a higher probability of slides, but yeah all places can slide. The day chalet area(watershed rd) is the mellow way in ,it's still nice and has some decent tree riding.Might be going tomorrow if you want a tour,Mellow or extreme doesnt matter to me.are these areas such as kingfisher, and saddle bowl, avalanche areas?
Good area; you can actually get in to Blue Lake from Laforge.
Shh... Why don't we just give friggen directions If we tell everyone this .
Ill pay my trail pass and ride the groom trail up to hunters rather then the 3foot whoops all the way up Cooke creek!! Yes it's quicker into the back of hunters but its a bumpy ride .
