A lil birdie tells me there is too much fresh snow to ride in the mountains rite now...

....well more like 7-8" of fresh in the bottom of the valley with that much again expected over night...

Should be a great week or two of riding!!

We got about 2 feet of fresh from the system earlier this week, less in the wind exposed areas
Creeks and that are filling in nicely now but still the occasional landmine out there.
Enough snow to ride from the bottom parking lot easily and they punched the groomed trail back to the second cabin Wednesday.

went up to Kingfisher NYE. Cold but beautiful. Managed to find some powder but must admit was hard to find. Note to fellow riders, pls keep your beer cans in the truck instead of throwing out the window. 1 ton Ford with AB plates you should be ashamed!!!!!!!!

Was up Hunters on Saturday and same, wonder if those are the same that come on here and bitch about closures.
A word of advise from those that respect the right to ride, "Pack in and pack out" or do us, that love the sport and BC natural beauty a favor.......STAY THE F OUT...simple.

unbelievable!!! I just cant fathom throwing beer cans out the window. Do they think there is some kind of clean up crew following them?? Wonder what their yards look like.

Haha, you must be one of them that don't like paying trail passes. It's not like a secret where all the side trails are into Owls/Hunters.
A location like "the moose" on your profile say's it all. I live here so i'm exempt from trail passes. If i'm wrong what the big deal on your area, i certainly don't give a rat.

I wouldnt be to quick to point fingers. just cuz im a local doesnt mean anything. You have no idea weather or not i have a membership or what i do or dont do for the club. plus there are lots of hidden gems around so why give away a good thing? just cuz i ride out of my garage rather then loading up and going to the main lot doesnt make a difference. but go ahead and derail the thread like most of the other intelegent people that seem to post in this area.

went to Hunters on Sat. Crazy deep snow but visibility sucked as it was snowing hard all day and goggles were not having any of that LOL. Be safe out there though as even small slopes are sliding! Here is a pic of one. I watched it from below and it was a bit surreal watching as he was side hilling and let go pushing him into the tree shown in the pic.
