We are thinking of heading to Hudson Bay for the weekend. Can anybody tell me what the conditions are like, or any suggestions on where there might be decent snow would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.

30-60 cm is what they are claiming last time I looked. Last time I rode out there when it said 30-60 cm I rode with my scratchers down all day and didn't see snow cover my skis.

The ain't much snow in the flatland this year. +13 around waskesui and Montreal lake today. Good day for ice fishing from the truck.

Was on the pasquia side and talked to numerous riders. Trail conditions are still fine, but trails are icy in areas and some minor dirt spots in a couple areas. I had a hell of a time keeping my pro rmk cool, basically rode from any unpacked snow area to the next, but the shorter tracks or crossovers were fine. I definitely wouldn't be trailering up to play in deep powder. Found some ok snow, but it has definitely dropped and lots of dangers/obstacles hiding under the snow. Also a decent amount of floodwater.

4-6" of fresh snow on the trail in the hudson bay / pasquia region. Nobody out on the trails and nice weather = excellent conditions. Haven't been off-trail though.

Update: Now 8"+ in the bush.
