I got a HEATED Enclosed 27' Triton Prestige trailer, and was wondering for some good tips on keeping the deck ice-free for the weekend. The trailer has a forced air furnace & I do get quite a bit of condinsation as well.
I had to think about this for a bit when I got my trailer and the solution I came up with was to goto your local hardware store and buy some 8'' sink drains. I went with 8'' because I had the bottom urethaned after. I installed six of these drains in my trailer.
I will take some this weekend
Let the sleds idle for a few minutes once off the hill, just before loading them........... The ice up inside the tunnel and in the skid will melt for the most part and most of it break off from the tunnel. Like most said, less snow on the sleds before loading, the better...........
What is everyone using to keep their trailer floor from building up with ice on their heated enclosed units?
Ya, still waiting on the floordrain pics.... ?
