Buses are under the commercial transport rules. They are regulary inspected at roughly 250 hours with a service, and its done by a certified commercial trans tech. In the picture i see minimal damage to the spindle, or threads, new bolts in the backing plate, this point towards a douche that didnt lock down the nut that holds it together. He should be fired on the spot, if it was an apprentice they should get thrown out on snow removal duty till they understand its a huge responsibility to service a bus!!

That happened to our previous bus driver. She was hung over and we hit 3 stop signs a tree and backed up on a car in one day....... Yes she is of the road!!!!

So who are most of the bus drivers in rural Alberta? They are moms….that have gone out and taken the courses and obtained the necessary license as the job and the pay are part time…

Impossible to attract experienced drivers when the job and the pay are part time

Also have you ever wondered why every other passenger vehicle has seat belts but not school buses??

Ever seen how the seats are mounted, not a lot of support holding them in place….

yupp tough to attract any driver with experience driving .. our old bus driver was a retired truck driver and he used to train all the new drivers that came onboard
