I had a similar repair but also added a turbo and a helicopter ride when a piece of broken plastic went through the turbo.

the Nytro slayed a few harmless trees...I was along for the ride !!!!

This one went in between the a-arms
And came out through the seat heater switch hole on the other side of the sled.
Only 1k damage to plastic and vents. No damage in side the engine compartment.
