I have a 15 skidoo 174" boondocker turbo. Linderman head. 7lbs boost straight av. 3200km no problems other than some heat and rubbing from intake on fuel lines. That being said I pull the hood off my sled after every 5 day trip and check. If your not into a little do it yourself turbo is probably not for you. I love mine couldn't see myself running a stocker again. I was the first in my group with a turbo and this year my whole crew is trying them out. More money = More power = More fun. Roll out the wallet and have more fun lol

Ran a few turbo 800 over the years, my aerochargers have ran good at lower boost levels, lost a few motors when boost levels above 7lbs, it seams rods just can't last above that..

Bought a more exspensive impulse kit a few years back and never touched motor to this point so far with now 2500 hard miles on it, this kit I have been pushing up to 10lbs so far and rods have been good, but I am always nervous about them popping, I have a Linderman built rod motor ready to go the day it happens and I might swap out sooner, we will see.. As for any other problems with impulse kit it's been pretty decent but Did loose a turbo last year when a fuse Poped and lost oil pump..

i have tried to run a 872 with a aftermarket xrod, but they never made it two days and broke, we are hopping lindermans rods are the answer

power of a good running two stroke is a great feeling, but you need to keep maintence up and be prepared to troubleshoot problems, because their will be. And be prepared for possible engine carnage..
