How do you start your day?

well as the title says what do you guys do to get you going in the morning?



Myself I like to have a cup of coffee and then go for a nice hot shower with a dip in of coures... lol

Usually ignore the alarm for as long as my conscience will allow me, trudge upstairs, see if there are any leftovers in the fridge, curse when there isn't, grab the milk, cereal, and my laptop, and surf S&M while eating my cereal.

Rise somewhere between 6-7 and have two double shots of espresso (double cream and lots of honey) while reading the news and all the fantastic happenings on this marvellous forum called Snow&Mud.

Try to get in the mood to go to work.........

6:00 Grudgingly wake up

6:03 Trudge over to closet, get dressed

6:07 take dog for a walk, start to get rid of scowl

7:00 return from walk, make coffee (black, the way it is supposed to be) and find something for breakfast. Browse interwebs on wifes ipad

7:20 morning healthy (ignore phone)

7:30 Hot shower (ignore phone)

7:40 Drive to work (ignore phone)

7:50 arrive at work, get situated (ignore phone)

7:55 start returning the frantic messages left by answering service for the last 1/2 hour

5:18am alarm, instantly shut it off

go to bathroom

get dressed

start coffee machine

kick little dog outside(son not in school), take little dog out for a walk(son in school)

5:45am bring little dog inside(he should be done his business)

make lunch(give little dog a little treat)

eat breakfast while watching Global news

5:55am bring little dog into bedroom to " Get Daddy"

Brush teeth

Pour travel mug full of coffee and watch news again

6:09am leave for work.

Lay in bed phone always rings between 5:00-7:45 usually answer it after 7:50 never answer get outta bed around 8 pay my taxes and jump in the shower brush teeth get dressed ignore 2-10 phone calls hop in truck about 8:30 start answering phone again listen to messages on way to work stop at timmies get to work 8:45ish yell at people sit at my desk and wonder why every one is dumb but me.....

Climb outa bed like I'm leaving an old friend. Make a gourmet coffee which I know isn't good for me. Grab the laptop and set on my lap and go to S&M and watch Global news Calgary to watch the weather and the guys hassle Groberman. God I miss Todd Gallant.............

I role out of bed at 9ish... put the coffee on.... head to bathrm for a long hot shower.... coffee is ready.... feed dogs and send them out the door... have leasurly breakfast while watching news... check the emails... head to work about 10ish for my daily dose of socializing... then home again.... gotta love my job!!! :d:d

4:50 wake up
5:10 eat breakfast and have my coffee black, in a to go much while a drive to work usually leave at 5:20
5:50 arrive at site, sit down in lunch room
6:00 punch in
4:30 punch out
5:00 home, do what ever.

my job starts a diff time each day.
usually alarm is set half hour before i have to be at work.
wake up. get dressed, eat some toast, brush my teeth.
leave house ten mins before work. walk 2 blocks to the shop.
sit in coffee room for half an hour......drive away in my truck
home early afternoons feed my cat in between there somewhere too...

Wake up between 6 and 6:30, 6ish when I shower, 6:30 when I dont. Get ready for work, come downstairs, let the dog out, have some breakfast if time allows for it, otherwise I eat at work. Jump in my truck around 7:15 and head to the bus station about 5 mins away, hop on one of Strathcona County's amazing transit busses..get really lucky when you get the luxury motor coach.. read a book or listen to my iPod during the commute downtown... get off the bus, walk a few blocks to work.. get to my desk @ about 8:05 and start some work or check the weather, check my emails, check snow and mud, etc lol. then @ 9:30 I head to Second Cup for my FIRST cup of coffee of the day with some old coworkers for about a half hour... thats the start of my weekdays..pretty routine lol
