We had an owl that was using our dormer roof as a buffet table, it would catch whatever and eat it on the roof...what a friggin mess up on there, and you could hear him bouncing around on the roof ( of course it was right over our bedroom). after about the 2nd week, I was all over the shoot, shovel, shut-up thing...if I had a night scope it would have been history, but alas, mother nature prevailed and he moved on to some other place.
I agree, enclosed dog run for the rabbit dog, that or shampoo the mutt in hot sauce :)

Illegal.

I thought about the plastic owl...but all research I did on it says it just keeps other birds away...and some sites say even that doesn't work after a while; you end up with a plastic owl covered in pigeon crap....

find where he likes to stay and change it... i mean if he's ontop of your house... use some of those plastic spikey type belts they use on the coast to keep the seaguls off people's roofs... makes it impossible to land

Put a boiled egg in your cage trap gets skunks every time
peanut butter is our family secret but ill try a boiled egg too... just make sure the trap is not big enough for it to lift it's tail... maybe odvious to some but painful to others that don't know

A skunk will not spray if it can't lift its tail. They will spray in an enclosed trap if there's room. Been there done that. Used a large UFA screen trap once, put the rodent in the back of my RZR for a trip to the creek. All hell broke loose before I got to the creek. It was a bad day.

No problem caught 3 in a closed in cage trap, can't see out won't spray. Take trap and dunk in a tank of water. Problem gone. Easy peasy. You can try it out on Tex's boat
first one was supposed be a cat) dog found it first
all bad. Trap Im using stinks so not real sure. Dont they spray when they._ relax when under water swimming? Dave have you went out and asked the owl to leave?

Yes you need to use a small trap. They tend not to spray if they can 't see. The fun part is opening the door. Hehe peeuu

thats nothing. I caught one once in the middle of a campground, in a cardboard box, in the middle of the night. I sealed up the box and thought I'd run a piece of garden hose into the box, attach it to my exhaust pipe of my truck and gas the little feller before taking it out of the campground. Bad idea. It clawed itself out of the box and sprayed the sh!t out of my whole camp site. There were people wandering around with flash lights thinking something was on fire, it stunk so bad.
