Rub your front bumper, up against their back tire ;)
And get charged with dangerous driving, good plan....
Why are you guys in such a rush you would risk killing someone's father, mother, son or daughter......

Would you be passing a car or slow moving farm tractor going up that hill?
O

If I had a deathwish, but they shouldn't stay riding double wide holding up traffic. I had to wait until they pedalled their slow asses up to the top of the hill before I could safely pass lol they could of simply not rode side by side and moved off to the very edge of the shoulder or even pulled off to the side so traffic can pass

so its ok for you to break the law by passing in a no pass zone in the same lane as another user, but they are wrong to ride side by side to protect themselves from anxious, in a hurray vehicles....

Bicyclists tend to only follow the laws when it suits them. Either you want to be treated like a motor vehicle or you don't imo.

i dont, i dont care that the rules are if your on wheels your a vehicle minus wheel chairs. your not a damn vehicle unless you have a motor IMO.

my commute to work is 20-40 minutes in my truck depending on traffic. my commute to work on my bike is 27-32 minutes depending on how hard i push it so i get a work out and am not in bumper to bumper traffic.

I stay on the paths and side walks, majority of them are shared paths so no broken laws there but im not getting hit by a car cause i inconvenienced a couple people walking! most people that walk constantly when i ring my bell (a bylaw here) move to the side and just keep on their way, its the idiots that walk once or twice a year that jump or freak out or turn around and stare at you that are the issue and are probably the complainers.

For me it's not about rights or who legally is entitled to what when you're on the road. When I ride my street bike on the highway I'm extra careful because if chit goes south I don't have a steel cage around me to save my a$$. The same is true for pedal bikers. I too was coming back from Revy on the Monday of May long and ran into them starting around hoodoo creek and finally passed the front guy east of Lake Louise. Many of them were riding 2-3 wide on the shoulder creating dangerous situation especially on the straight two lane stretches with the heavy traffic of the holiday. I'm sure you are correct Pano-Dude they are legally entitled to that lane as they are considered vehicles but for me when it comes down to a choice between being correct or not dying I'm going to choose not dying every time!

funny, I guess all vehicles always follow the laws? nobody talks on their phones while driving, speeds.... how many accidents are caused by bikers or how many bike vs car accidents are there in a season?

you guys kill me, pretty quick to jump all over someone or something that you don't understand but holy fawk the whining starts if someone does the same to your activity of choice.

as far as I'm concerned there needs to be more tolerance of others in society these days.

It,s not about your rights it,s about doing something stupid if you don't have to.Why ride on a hyw with no shoulder lots of hills and trucks carrying 50 ton loads,It doesn't matter if your in the right if you get hit because your dead.

most people who ride motorcycles learn to always look for a escape route when they ride, dont get inbettween a vehicle and a curb stuff like that its how we survive.Byccle riders seem to have a death wish, riding on the right side of vehicles where they are pretty much invisible and then shooting throw a intersection when a vehical is turning right. So whose to blame when they get hit.So what is a cycleist a pedestrian or a vehical no seems to know the answer.

hahaha, i hear ya now worries. living in bc is sooo different than ab, i see the same around lac la biche when i'm working.

i'm not into riding road miles too much but sometimes its all there is. i respect the guys who do choose to ride road, they can put down a couple hundred kms a day. yes some can be douches but its usually due to close calls of cars not giving any space to them.

Sorry I guess I should of clarified, the guys I see in the Nisku industrial park riding bikes have impaired charges. Why you ride is sweet! I wish I had the energy to do that.
